Part 1 – Introduction
To be reborn you must die. To experience death you must not only leave your comfort zone – your entire world has to be turned upside down. Everything you knew, or thought you knew, is wrong. You must relearn how to walk, and find peace; you must also rediscover who you are or who you are meant to be. This is the point of no return – you can never return to who you once were and can never unlearn your newly found knowledge. You are not supposed to. This process, though painful, serves a purpose. To experience life’s coming attraction, you must have certain qualities, and these are qualities the current version of you does not possess. So surrender. Surrender to the Creator. They are the ones who are responsible for your transformation process. This rebirth/transformation is a journey— a rewarding one at that. So enjoy the journey. Who knows? It may be more fun than the goal waiting for you.
The year is 3072 – 3rd of July, and Abeeso is on her way to the airport. Destination: Malawi, also known as the heart of Africa. She is at the airport about to board the flight, but first had to say her final goodbyes to her parents. “Alright, take care, I’ll see you again soon,” says Abeeso. “Don’t forget to say your prayers, and to give us a call when you arrive!” – “I won’t, Dad.” – “And don’t forget to give the presents when you arrive at their place.” – “I won’t, Mom.” As their final farewell, they gave each other a kiss on each cheek before she boarded the flight. Abeeso was wearing a black oversized hoodie with matching sweatpants, whereas her parents were wearing a red baati and macawis. These were their last impressions of each other as they waved goodbye.
09:30 am – the plane has taken off.
